Inspection of the boat from stem to stern:
It has a beautiful and traditional interior with the FWD cabin interior. A beautiful, large master stateroom is forward with V-berths and plenty of drawers and closets for extended travel. She has an external berth compartment as well as a 5 drawer chest of drawers on the port side followed by private access to the head. The STB has a sideboard with 4 drawers and a suspended locker. Large hatch in top for ventilation, teak cabinets, teak and holly sole and provides 6'2" of clearance.
Next comes the big head with a top hatch for extra ventilation; The head is equipped with;
large makeup mirror
stainless steel sink
Storage above, outboard and under vanity
Grifo Grohe 2015
Raritan Marine Elcgance 2013 electric freshwater toilet

Going aft and entering the main saloon with a headroom of 6 feet 5 inches - here you get the traditional feel of a fine yacht with a U-shaped diner on the port side with a fixed table and sofa facing the STB. The sofa opens up to create a larger sleeping space, with plenty of storage in the back and shelving outside. There are also additional shelves behind the dining area. Tanks are located under the living areas. Behind the port saloon is her large navigation station, electronics and electrical panel followed by a double berth. Behind the STB sofa is its L-shaped galley, whose staircase leads to the cockpit and also serves as access to the engine compartment.
Her overall interior is warm and inviting with her teak and holly sole, the teak cabinets and the white laminated ceiling with teak support accents add to her charm and provide a very light vessel underneath. All of the soft goods listed below have been refreshed with a fun green and white stripe. All new fixed doors with stainless steel finish and top hatch also enhance the light below.

final notes
This boat was completely refurbished in 2009/2010 despite her age and most recently spent the winter of 2022/2023 at Osprey Marine with fully revised decks and awlgrip later and a new red hull with awlgrip. The Red Jacket V will rival any comparable boat built today. Owners have a record of everything done to it. Using today's materials and technology, it now surpasses the way it was originally built and with constant updates and improvements by its dedicated owners, it outshines the competition.
New Zealand naval architect Alan Warwick designed the CT-38 for maximum blue water speed in the demanding conditions of the Tasman Sea. Its platform is designed for running efficiency. This boat will be at home in any ocean; Tasman, the Caribbean, the Chesapeake Bay, you name it and it gets you there in comfort.
The Red Jacket V is an exceptional vessel and should honestly be considered a bespoke yacht. The owners have done everything to maintain and improve this boat. Because of their love and passion for sailing they put their hearts and finances into it and it shows. They liked it but realized that now is someone else's time to upload it and made sure it didn't take anything and pass all the polls. This boat is in true "sail away" condition. There is no new boat that compares to the Red Jacket V in appearance and performance.
