During your trip in AC Valhalla you have many options. It's true that many of these choices won't have much impact on the rest of the story; therefore, in many cases, you can choose the one that feels most natural for your Eivor. However, there are more than a few actions or dialogue options that can change the ending you get when you finally cross the finish line in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Many of the decisions you face are not always black or white, there is not always a clear right or wrong answer. The same goes for story-changing choices, assuming you know what they are. It's safe to say that all Sigurd-related choices matter, so you need to be very careful with those choices. Even so, the correct course is not always clear.
If you don't want to leave things to chance or mess with the ending you eventually get, I've listed AC Valhalla's choices below in (somewhat) chronological order. At the bottom of the page, you can now also find the answer to an important decision at the end of the new Wrath of the Druids DLC.
If you're worried about spoilers, be careful here. The answer for each option is listed below.
Banish or Kill Gorm?
This is one of the first choices you should make in AC Valhalla. It takes place while you're still in Norway, right after defeating Kjotve and trying to hunt down his runaway son, Gorm. King Harald will ask what to do with Gorm and will give you three options to choose from.
